Mohit Mirchandani - Head PMS Investment



Mohit has over 14 years' experience in managing equity investments. He joins Religare Asset Management from Taurus Asset Management where he headed the equity investment function from Feb'09 till June'10. Prior to Taurus, he was working as Vice President - Equity with ING Investment Management (India) Pvt. Ltd., where he managed equity investments and undertook equity research. Mohit has also worked with ING Investment Management, USA as Equity Fund Manager and prior to this, with the Coca Cola Company Inc., USA as Equity Research Analyst. Mohit holds a Commerce degree and an MMS degree from Mumbai University. He also holds an MBA degree from USA. Mohit was instrumental for the top performance of some of the equity schemes managed by him in his previous assignment. He was awarded the Best Turnaround Manager in India's Best Mutual Funds Award 2009 presented by Business World in partnership with Value Research.

Chetan Shah – Portfolio Manager

Chetan has over 15 years' experience in equity research & analysis, retail broking & investment banking and portfolio management. He has been with PMS division since inception and played a key role in investment management. Prior to this he worked with Quantum Securities as Head of Research where he concentrated on broad strategies and IT Services sector and guided his team of analysts on neglected sectors and stocks. Quantum Securities was ranked amongst the Top 20 local brokers in Asia Money Broker Poll for 2003 under the 'Most Independent Research', 'IT Services' and 'Overall' categories. In the 2004 poll was ranked amongst the Top 20 local brokers in 'Auto Ancillaries' category under his leadership. He has also worked with DBS Securities. Chetan holds an Electronics Engineering degree and also a PGDAM from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. He is also a CFA Charter Member from CFA Institute, USA.

Chetan Chavan – Dealer

Chetan has over 7 years' experience; beginning his career in the sales function before moving into the Dealing function. He joins Religare PMS from Networth Stock Broking where he was a Relationship Manager and a Dealer. Prior to Net Worth, he was working as Sales Executive with SSKI-Sharekhan.com. Chetan has also worked with HBL Global Pvt. Ltd. as Sales Executive. Chetan holds a Commerce degree from Mumbai University.
